    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

help with fmf exhaust for my te449

hi guys im just after a little help again with working out part numbers for my exhaust.

i want to put the following items on my 2012 te449 but im not sure what other parts i need to make it fit a te449 seeings they are made for a tc449 and have a different way of mounting the header to the head?

im after fmf item numbers 045428 and 045426 on this link http://www.fmfracing.com/Products/BikeAsList/2012_HUSQVARNA_TC449

of anyone has any part numbers to the mounting parts for the header to the head that would be very helpful

Thanks for the help guys. I've been in contact with and they tell me they don't make a mounting kit to adapt a tax header to a te, so it looks like I'm going to have to get a factory kit off a husqvarna dealer. Now in Australia husqvarna try rip us off for parts and want something close to $300 for the kit. Who do u guys recommend that ships to Australia?

I guess it depends on who you talk to at FMF. The TC449 header and silencer fit the TE's. I will have these on my TE 511 soon.
 
I know that the to system will fit on a te. All I will need is the mounting hardware off a tc swings that the tc systems have a spring help hold the header onto the head unlike the te which just bolts on. I just need to find somewhere not in Australia to by the tc mounting hardware
