Thank you Jimmy! I read your posts and see how pleased you are with the outcome!
Same here I am 5'4". I feel like the drag racer chasing every possible 10th he can get out of the car. Insoles in boots with thick socks. Considering a lower profile rear tire when the time comes. Even got a little crazy and looked at the handles on the subframe and thought those could be cut off, form a new seat pan... lol
Do you get more of your feet on the ground with the 1.5" internal lowering vs the link?
Hey 2 wheeler, and Ptkatoomer, and Boogie, Glad you liked my review, 2 wheeler to answer you question Absolutely!!! more feet on the ground, not flat footed but I am totally ok with that, I fit the best on this bike than any other bike I have owned! And guys about sag, yes reset the sag once the bike is lowered, Drew gave a great sag set up instructions for me for the future I can post a pic of it here if you guys want so you can do it yourselves it walks you through it. I had dropped off the whole bike there so we did it together once I came to pick it up, he also gave me clicker recommendations and I tweaked it a bit from our initial and haven't touched it since! I live in the Rocky part of NJ. I mean really rocky and this bike floats! I have also done a dual sport in the southern Jersey sandy trail and the bike did fantastic as well. I am apprx 140lbs without gear so we put softer front springs in as well. I can also check and let you know how far the forks are in the triple clamps as well! Let me know I am Happy to help!
