• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

GPR Exhaust Group buy.

I've looked long and hard at the list provided. I reckon I'm not smart enough to decipher it. I think I'll go single...black is the sporting color...gotta save my pennies for a PC and auto tune...but will have a crazy kool single afterward.!
Figure you'd need to do both to see the most benefit...if I'm wrong someone stop me before I waste the funds.

power commander 5 with auto tune a must have!!! i just installed it and much better. pulls alot harder and no caugh off iddle since adding 6% fuel from stock map at 0% throttle from 1250 rpm to 2250 rpm. i am waiting for my GPR single side to arrive still. will remap and post afterwards.

Ciao Mega, I went with the single exhaust. Nero Furore version. I was very surprised to see that I got a full exhaust system, header and all. Build quality is beautiful. Welds perfect as is fitment. I have it spotted on the bike and I want to take the time to weigh the stock system and then the GPR to see what the difference is.

I have been patiently waiting for all the news regarding this exhaust (weight loss, power, noise etc)...and nothing !!!

What happended ?

What happened ?

You've read the other thread too? http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/g-p-r-motorcycle-exhausts-im-working-for-you.34373/page-7

You do save some weight, but you can't tell when your riding. You might get a slight power bump at low or mid-range but, again, it's hard to tell. The sound is much better than stock. A nice deep note when you're on the gas. It feels like I get a power boost - because I love the sound of the bike when the giving the throttle a twist - so I'm always on the gas when I can. I'm very happy with my single setup.

I have weighed the stock mufflers (without catcon stuff) at 2.8Kg each. I also have a GPR Tri-oval muffler that weighs 2.2Kg. So assuming some weight saved in the link pipes (1Kg ??) and losing maybe 3.5Kg on the mufflers - total saving of 4.5Kg(+ or -). Doesn't sound like much until you hold a bag of potatos or similar weighing 5Kg.

Well I caved and ordered the dual pipe set up with no cat's. I have noticed the price seems to be climbing on these and didn't want to wait to see the price go up any more or be forced into the cat model.
