Our whole approach with the work done on the Husqvarna 300 was to increase torque and bottom end power to make a smoother and really strong bottom end power curve to suit the tight and technical demands of GNCC racing. The Pro Circuit engine mods and exhaust, combined with the ignition from the MX model and Kehin carb, create an engine with a smoother power delivery and more torque.
In the handling department the factory clamps provide better, tighter turning that is enhanced by the 2010 Husqvarna KYB forks. Ohlin's TTX shock and fork cartridge are used for more control and adjustment. The TTX shock relieved us of some fade issues we were experiencing in the 3 hour GNCC.
A big improvement was the Magura hydraulic clutch that makes for a lighter and more linear pull with a much more definite engagement point.
The rest of the modifications made to the bike are all aimed at increasing the durability of the machine for the rigors of GNCC racing along with personalizing the bike to my liking. All combined, this is one trick looking Italian stallion!
