    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Foot peg relocator

Hi, not allowed to PM yet. Soon I hope. I would like a set of the peg relocator brackets if they are still available. My size 14's could use some more room.

Well, apparently I am too neophyte to have PM privileges either, but I am interested in a set of peg relocators if somebody can hook me up. - Lee
 
I'd like a set of these too if Husky is still making them, but I can't yet PM either. Frustrating!

With the extra space it's not only more comfortabe it shifts better and it seems easier to find neutral. Here are some pictures.

I need a solution here. I feel like it is damn near impossible to use my rear brake from a standing position. like I have to tilt my foot so far downward that i feel like a damn ballerina And my shifter is none too easy to use either. I tried contacting someone here about footpegs to which they replied they do not make them anymore or some such. I tried talking to the shop here and they were at a loss being there is nothing aftermarket to bolt on... its so difficult for me to control from off the seat that I am really considering getting rid of the bike.

So you're saying that the brake pedal pad is too LOW in relation to the peg? That's the opposite problem that most people have. Even with my pedal lowered as far as it can go without bottoming out on the peg mount, I have no problem reaching it while standing on the pegs. I lowered it so it was easier to cover when goofing off on one wheel.

I'm 6'3", but I don't think I would want to lower my pegs and give up any lean angle :p
 
Does somebody have a drawing or the exact measurements of the plate? I am interested too.

Nearly impossible to shift with "real" Enduro boots. Gear lever is in the highest possible position.
 
I made them from 8mm flat bar, moved holes about 20mm back and 10mm lower.
