I think I have finally got my TE310 the way I want it. I have the following on the bike.
(HDB) Highway dirtbike handguards and top mount.
BRP submount w/ scotts damper
Garmin Gps62s
Uptite skid plate and muffler guard
Tourtech rear fender rack
ASV levers
Husky frame guards and 46tooth main gear
FMF q4 muffler. I didn't notice much differerence between stock and this muffler other than the tone was a bit easier on the ears.
I cut part of the seat foam out and re layered it with the soft foam seat I had purchased from "Guts Racing". The soft foam was too soft so I cut part of the hard foam out of the stock seat and glued in the upper part of the guts foam. Worked out well.
The HDB mirrors work pretty good. With the husky though they vibrate more. So what I did was put some rubber electrical grommets between the mirrors and handguards. This works pretty well to dampen a lot of vibration out.
The HDB top mount here is actually an old style I guess. I saw a picture of it online someplace but not shown on there web site. I had to ask for it. I think it looks better. Not so "heavy" and bulky.
The HDB guards are strong. Much stronger than the cyra's I've used in the past.
This is the edge where I cut off the lower portion of the L/P plastic. I used some 1/8 aluminum strips to build a foundation for the plate. While strong, I'm not quite sure what will happen to the fender when it falls and hits something.
