Husqvarna
AA Class
I searched on this topic a bit and didnt find much so I figured I would as the Husky folks here. I currently have the opportunity to purchase a 2012 TC449 demo bike. It has 25 hours on the motor and to my knowledge was ridden by a Husky rep. The dealer is very reputable and I trust them. They deal with Huskies exclusively. I can get the bike for around $4300 give or take a few bucks and can get the 5.9% financing being that it was never titled. That being said what is everyone's opinion and ideas on owning a demo bike? I am concerned that because the previous rider knew he wouldnt have the bike long, he might have had the 'ride it hard and put it away wet' mentality. On the other hand if maintenance / parts were free then it could have been done meticulously. I havnt actually seen the bike yet due to it being a two hour drive but was told that mechanically it is sound and could use a bit of freshening up cosmetically. Im not worried about typical maintenance things like brake, chains, sprockets, etc. although I suppose this could be a tell tale sign of how the rest of the bike was taken care of. I am going to take a look at the bike tomorrow or Monday. I am going to look in the airbox for oil spray. Anything else to look for? Im going to use the bike for a variety of things including but not limited to street riding (with my SM wheels), light play moto, trail riding, etc. I dont plan on racing it unless the KTM
or TXC are broke. Thanks guys!
