IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Caravan #1 will leave Uptite Husqvarna at 7am on Friday.
Caravan #2 will leave Mc Donalds parking lot Calexico at 2pm. Its the Mc Donalds on Hwy 111, east side of street, near the border crossing.
First Beer at 5pm Friday at the Sand Bar at Hotel El Cortez, San Felipe.
WE HAVE 24 beds reserved in 12 rooms at the El Cotez. Its double occupancy, or get a single room if you want privacy (snore, fart alot, sleep walk, arriving late, whatever) There are more rooms available, if needed.
Pay when you get there. Meet us at the bar, have a beer at 5 pm with us, then we will sort the rooms out. If you arrive late, just tell then you are with the motorcycle group. reservation lady couldnt spell Husqvarna, so we are just the 'motorcycle group'
Rooms and a big family style seafood dinner are set up for Sat PM in Bay of LA.
If you only eat meat, let me know, so they can plan.

Where: San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico to "Bay of Los Angelas", Baja California, Mexico, and back.
Leave: San Felipe's 'Hotel El Cortez' early Sat. the 14th of Feb.
Arrive: Bay of LA that evening.
Arrive back to San Felipe the 15th.
Chase truck, radios, sat phones, guide and sweep rider, all provided free, pay your own expenses (about $150/day or less all inclusive).

-Husky with 70 mile fuel range.
-Good tires/chains/sprockets and HD tubes.
-Passports mandatory, papers for your bikes a very good idea.
-One bag of overnight stuff for the chase truck
Misc Info
-No firearms in Mexico
-Dollars preferred, no need to exchange money, ATM's in San Felipe, but its best to bring cash in US $20 bills-and a few $1's
-All gas for bikes is made in the USA 91 octane.
-Food is mostly Seafood, but steaks also available, rice and beans for vegetarians.
-Temps in the 70's-80's during the day, 50's at night. Bring suntan lotion!
-Hotels each night with secure parking.

-Optional caravan leaves George's shop 7am on Friday-its 5 hours drive time from Uptite Husqvarna to San Felipe.
-Option to meet at the Calexico/Mexicali border at 2pm (Mc Donalds parking lot in Calexico) Its 2 hours drive from the border to San Felipe.
-All meet at Hotel El Cortez in San Felipe for dinner Friday night (beers at the 'Sand Bar' at 6pm.)

-Insurance for trucks available at the border in Calexico (Oscar Padilla Ins. Co, or others) Look for the big signs along the main drag in Calexico. Cant miss it. Takes 10 minutes. Costs $100 for a long weekend/truck.
-Paperwork for all vehicles needed in Baja and at the border.
-Safe overnight truck parking in San Felipe
