My father and I have been riding for over 30 years. I thought I knew everyhting until I switched from Honda to Husky. Lots of different things to learn. I have been riding Husky since 1994 and the one question I never asked was about the motor oil for the bikes. Well I can no longer ask my dad for advice so I now turn to you guys and I know I will be steered in the right direction.
What would anyone suggest using a certain type of synthetic oil on a 2000 TE410? Would it be the same as the new husky's? I had been using Mobil 1 for years and never had an issue. But since I have been more involved I have heard different stories on how you should only use motorcycle oil, and such. Since there are different additives and what not. I did post this in the "oil" thread but I figure I might get a response if I start my own.
