I've decided I want an alternate set of rims for my 08' TE510. I want these with mild rubber for more street oriented use (Pirelli Scorpions) that I can swap quickly when I'm not planning a trail ride. I'd rather not go the motard route as I want to keep this simple and not mess with rotors/sprockets/fenders, etc...
Used stock sets seem to be hard to come by so I figured I'd order a new set from FasterUSA. They seem knowledgeable and have good prices. Now I just need to decide between the Excel Notako or the Excel Takasgo. My thinking is the Notako's would be the more street oriented set and would be more than up to the task. Another set of Takasago's for that purpose would probably be overkill. Price difference is $ 180.00 for the fully laced set.
Has anyone had any negative experiences with the Notako's ??
