• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

AJP in the house...

Get out.. come to Idaho... We are Republican run and have Less Movie stars than Montana :)
This is a trick, there is no riding in Idaho, gets real bad in N. Idaho, all motorcycles and bank accounts will be seized at border, all trails have been paved!! :) disclaimer time some or all of this statement may be complete and utter B.S.-but is it worth the risk?:D

Golly Sarge, are u sayin I shouldn't go see? Oh now I've see what it's all about. No better motivation than telling me I shouldn't look?

OK but bring your street tires:banana: Now back to the real reason of this thread, I may be too big for one of these (that's code for I'm not fat just really flabby boned) but I am really excited to see how these bikes turn out, look good, sound good, and it was many, many years ago Motosportz review and info sold me on my 04 Husky (different website different username) that gives me a good hunch there gonna have a good solid dealer in the NW.

So I had a great ride Sunday. Buddy Rollie on a KTM 250, Buddy Travis on a KTM350 and buddy Blake on a Husky WR165. None of them wanted to let the little AJP with the old guy on it gap them, only Rollie was able to keep me in sight. The AJP is a great bike. The honeymoon is over and I'm still very impressed. With my fresh Dunlop 803 rear on it the bike is borderline cheating. I was told it was slick out, did not notice. Great traction, excellent suspension, superb handling, little more power due to the muffler insert and away I go. Bike is so easy to live with and really works with you. We were on it hard all day yesterday. Hammer down in great conditions. Semi wet out. This bike is camera shy, this is the second time I tried to go pro with no luck. Mount broke just as I was installing in on my helmet. CRAP! Would have been a great day for footage. We were at one of those big hills where you watch your friends try and make it up. Travis on the KTM350 took first try, made it halfway. Rollie on the KTM 250 made it to the top but struggled. I was going to wimp out but they were not having it. I flew up it in second and had the cleanest run. Yeeehaaaa. Bike continues to amaze. In tighter woods conditions, especially when it is technical I think I am faster on this bike than any other bike I own. I'm pretty shocked at this revelation. Good times.

BTW as I said we were hammer down. I was getting low on fuel at 53 miles, probably good for about 65 at race pace. Rollie with the KTM went on reserve at the end of the ride and said he had never hit reserve before 72 miles so I guess we were on it.

The pipe is a nice looking part and turning cool colors, blue to gold. And yes, gets a flogging to hang with the big boys. Has not missed a beat so far and seems to like a good whippin.

yep gulp some food and take a piss time. We were pretty hammer down that day, hardly time to get off the bike. 54 miles of tight stuff.
