Thank you**************************************** We have the best customers period.

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

Unless I've missed it in this thread, what is the compression ratio? Same as stock TE510?
How does installation of the kit impact the torque and HP curves compared to a stock PU (TE510)
Is the 530 kit still available? I'm going to pull my motor apart soon and was thinking of the big boar kit since Mr Fox is so happy with his.
Big
I think its 13.2:1 like the 450/530SMRR's
Husky doesn't include any paperwork, they assume you know what you are doing.
and what is the ring end gap spec on the 530 kit? Help I don't know what I'm doing.. Do you know the octane rating required for this kit?
Thanks!!It is the repair manual for my 08 TE510 Section G (engine overhaul). Ken
Just checking in to report my 532cc kit is still running strong with almost 2000 miles on it... and 7500 on the bike.
I assume with 2 rings only you free up some power (less parasitic drag) at the cost of longevity... can the rings be sourced separately or just get a new piston w/rings? I don't plan to tear it down until next winter at the earliest but the 2 ring comment reminded me I wanted to know for future maintenance planning.
thanks a lot for the update
I believe we have rings for these and the 300 kits, will send Motosportz Mike here to confirm.
The 530 head gasket is different, and of course we have them and the hi-flo water pump.
