  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Another reason to move back to the Inland Empire...they wouldn't cough up a tall one when I requested. Sometimes ya gotta be there.

Get the seat concepts, it rules. Call them I think they have a real sticky seat cover too.

Come on out. Late summer is best here as you can hit the higher Cascade mt stuff.
 
Man you guys, I love the SM track but those trails look like so much fun!!! It's 35 and raining cats and dogs here. Can't wait to see the new breather so at least I can sit in my heated garage and play with my new breather till summer get here......
 
I know, wish I had a definite eta to give out. I added them to the website though and created discount codes.

SeatConcepts is sticky, wish I had gotten the non-sticky one. Sticks so well that it pulls my leathers off, seriously.

Thats a bummer, the owner that made my seat mold is actually a CH member here. it's 2.5" taller than stock.
 
Come and get'em !! Ha Ha :banana: This is just a mock up , I had some trouble trying to be cheap and rivet in a baffle to the box and bracket and had to use a band saw to get them out so it marked up the lexan. Will be using stainless bolts for a production run next time. I have the Carbon fiber bracket option for those who dont like see threw lexan. very stought and light unit . The sticker is optional :cheers:

Well id like to invite you ladds to the east coast. Its not just the gnarly single track tho ...coal banks/hills and some good places to check out. REAL Philly cheesesteaks, good beer...good pizza, rough lookin chicks. What else could you ask for?

So I went on the Zip Ty site and all I found was a breather mod part with no pic or way to purchase. Tinken, Id like to place an order for one in advance. Not possible yet? As far as contributing to this thread, would a poor sense of humor and occasional whitty anecdote qualify one for a discount;) ?

When the parts go to the anodizers I will put them up for pre-order.
