  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The Hammers are bad. 13/62 gearing would come in handy.

Your buddy needs CTS... Of course the Husky goes up like its asphalt...

This is part one. I had to bring a friend that use to work with "Shawn " it was his very first time on a bike , I give him credit for making it to " The Squid Filte " ... Fun video, a good test of CTS at the end. Notice the Husky nails it, then again I have mad it threw no problems on other bike, the CTS defiantly works better .

I'm interested also. Guessing it will need to be welded to the bike? Happy to buy a case or two for anyone in sydney that can help me attach it.

Hey CH patrons ! Soon I will be starting a thread on how I built my own high flow breather / oil return system using parts from my local ( for US residents ) HomeDepo , RadioShack, PepBoys and local nut and bolt store . This thread is tooo big ! It I know there are a ton of do it yourselfers out there with some building skills who just need a couple tips to get motivated and save some money. Even if you are not looking to increase capacity my breather system will re-route thoughs blow by gases out of the airbox where they are breaking down your air filter oil and sending hot gases back into your intake where you want the air as close to outside temperature as possible. My design will transform your airbox into a cold air intake . It will make your bike run cooler when running flat out and catch any oil that gets up the breather and dump it back to your engine . Sound good ?

I like that last hill on part 1 of your videos. I went up something just like that at Gorman, except it was silt. When I stopped in it, you couldn't see my tire, only spokes. I remember thinking to myself how could anyone go up this? And I had my 511 pinned to go up to the top. It was the over pass from the mountain to go to the water tanks and the Grand Prix track. Later on some of the KTM guys were laughing at me because they actually race that section, but they go down it, not up it! I shrugged, only a Husky would attempt that. lol
