all sales are final.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

LOL. Toucheall sales are final.
You will be able to remove one of the hoses and funnel it in . My unit will be 100% welded , no need to pull it apart. If any thing somehow gets into the box it should settle in the return line you can add a screen to that.... also you could lay the bike over on its side and put it in the drain holeA few thoughts. How about adding the oil fill plug on your box design? My concern is How difficult will it be to remove the adapter when adding or changing oil?
Question, can we remove any screws, sight glass or clear tubing that can use for verifying the new oil level?
Look forward to see the final designs![]()

Any idea when these might be available? I just received my TXC tank from Ty yesterday and realized that the TC and TXC caps are different. The oil drain-back plug is kind of a pain. I do like Randy's set up though. Ty said he will make oil caps that have a swivel machined into it and will be easy to take on and off. It's on our list of things to do. We have gas caps coming for the 449/511 also. Even if you buy the Husky hard part, after awhile, the metal cap wears out the gas tank threads. So the new gas caps coming have metal threads that attach to the tank and a metal cap, all anodized and allow the tank to last. All cheaper than the original Husky hard part.![]()
The new oil level will show in your stock sight glass as really full, because the blow-by happens when you are riding there will be no need for a level indicater. It will be up to the consumer to install there own idicater , I just don't see how it's necesary since any oil that goes in goes back to the engine quickly you will never see anything in it. Of coarse the only way to know these type of setups work is too test them :bQuestion, can we remove any screws, sight glass or clear tubing that can use for verifying the new oil level?

Thanks, Kicking out some ideas while everyone is in RD! Nah but I didnt ask for it. Had I known it was different i would have asked if it was available. No biggie. I have the rear of the bike together with my new spring. Im going to try and install my spacers in the forks sometime this week so I wont be riding it for a bit anyway. I will call tomorrow and see if he will sell it.Did Ty send out the regular cap with the tank?
