• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2016 FIM Motocross World Championship

got to go Fevre and gasjer until someone beats them... 3rd I'll go AC222 but I really like Simpson.....

Whats the deal with Anstie? one race hes horrible next fighting on the podium..... crazy

Didn't Nagl take over the points lead about now last year? He's looking very good, if he can go that fast consistently and not crash I think we may see Husky with a 1st MXGP title in a long time. Now, if I was a betting man....

very possible he looks good....

be awesome when Gasjer is over here with dungey and Anderson in the MX Nationals

MX2 without a doubt Herlings

For MXGP I think Nagl has a good chance but don't be surprised if AC222 jumps on the highest step of the podium.

I will be surprised if AC222 is on the top step! Although do expect him to win races, especially in Italy.

Who's your money on for the MXGP of Mexico? If MX2 should go Herlings's way, MXGP seems more open. Nagl looks in great shape, so my top 3 Nagl, Fevre, gajser

Predictions were good for the first race, but in a slightly different order. With 5 minutes to go, Gajser seemed a little disturbed with a red piece of plastic and... a blue rocket right behind him !

Nagl got both holeshots, gut Gajser was def the fastest on the track. Anstie looks really good too, but it seems nobody can catch Herlings. I also cheer for Bernadini on the TM in MX2

Gajser has the fastest time in practice for the German mxgp. Fevre is only fourth, with a single point advantage in the championships standings. How closer could it be... Can't wait for tomorrow with a great programme on TV : MxGP, moto GP, and US SX !!

I recommend watching the second race in mx2 , especially Herlings's reaction towards a great Jeremy Sewers after the race... Man, that dude had better get himself accustomed to some kind of fightback if he dares going to the 450 class someday ...

I disagree... If you look seewers made some just pain dumb moves including one on verandes and one of the others... Dude stick in your line...

But also herlings speed is way higher than everyone in that class

Finally sat down and watched the MX2 from the GP of Germany. Jeremy Seewer was riding the Suzuki like it was a tractor trailer truck! He was five lanes wide most of moto 2 - good riding! Too bad he couldn't seal the deal.

Mad Max Anstie had it all wrapped up but choked like a fat guy choking on a chicken bone. He literally gave it away!

Herlings really needs to be moved to the GP and start learning a little humility. He really thinks he's entitled, doesn't he? Did any of you see how he lectured Seewer after moto 2? Herlings is fast, talented and all but he does seem like turd to me.

According to his fb page, he was mad at Seewer because he kinda cut his line while he was jumping. He said he was angry because he was afraid of another injury. In my opinion, that guy does not like competition and fightbacks because I have seen dirtier things in mx races and nobody complained. And as far as injuries are concerned, Herlings has needed nobody else but himself for the last two years... so I guess he does not like those who are right behind him in the championship standings ( like Tixier, champ in 2014, and Gajser champ last year )

He would have HATED racing against Barcia when he was on a 250. Or, maybe even the nagging "under the skin" stylings of Vince Friese.
