• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2016 FIM Motocross World Championship

Great racing yesterday all around. MX2 was so much better without Herlings and Gasjer and Nagl smoked the rest in both motos
I thought Pourcel looked great too. Even when he bailed it was spectacular. I was really glad to see back and in the top 10 in moto 2.

It looks like Herlings went riding last week to see how his collar bone had healed and... he crashed again , even bent the plate supporting his shoulder. That may be a game changing situation.

Congrats to Nagl for the 1-1 , good to see competition in the mxgp class. And RF461 slowly but steady back to business

Who's your money on for Lommel? My son bet for Gajser , VanHorebek, Paulin ( maybe he simply quoted the result of the qualifying race or practise times, I did not check :) )

Gasjer obviously has the speed, but it seems like Nagl and before that Cairoli were able to use their experience to hold him off. We'll see soon. If Gasjer gets the holeshot and doesn't crash he may unstoppable. I'll bet on Nagl, because he's my fav and he looked amazing last week.

Yeah, both classes have really upped the game lately. Good to see Anstie go 1-1 this week and I've watched Nagl win the Czech round about 6 times now. Looking forward to next week and hoping to catch the Charlotte round
