• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 Husky's not available in the U.S.?

I hesitate to say, because I'm still thinking about acting on these crazy low prices, but Toy Tech in Grantville, PA (near Hershey) has fire sale prices. Toytechcycles.com They are a Husky-only dealer. Scott and Chris will hook you up.

Little farther away but give Bob At Central Jersey Cycles 732-443-4465..he just bought a bunch from a dealer down here in Florida.

Hey Farva, whats the name of that restaurant with all the sh1t on the walls?
Shenanigans!

for the open ride area folks...Ca. (Red/green stickie ) I noticed in the new Husky journal all the FE bike 4T have nothing under the titles but all the TE 2 strokes have for closed course racing only.....maybe the FE are Green sticker bikes (CARB EPA compliant?), All the TC models are closed course only listed.
Leads me to believe FE 4Ts will be green stickie machines.

sorry I forgot maybe they will be homologated as epa legal off road machines....hahaha

Sorry I just find it funny... it's like the new hip word to say. Kind of a Euro thing I guess. Looked it up. Kinda belongs in the conversations regarding adaptations to meeting certain standards including legal ones for certification for street status and smog and such. BUT this community uses it when swapping out FOOT PEGS or installing hand guards.

I mean common !
