Writing to see if anyone has come across the same problem...
-I went to intall the rekluse basket, using the supplied lock-washer. Tightened the nut to perscribed torque (50-60lbs) and washer began to spin, sheering off the locks. Called rekluse, told them about the problem and they immediately sent a new washer (denying ever hearing about an issue like this). Same problem with second washer. However, I stopped torquing the nut before the locking tabs sheared off. My only fear is that I never did hit the 50lbs mark on my torque wrench.
The rekluse supplied lock washer is also a bit confusing. They use a 'universal' washer, so it is designed for various sizes of bolts. Well, on the TE310, the inside washer diameter is much larger than the bolt...barely making contact with the nut. I'm no engineer, but this design seems flawed.
Let me know what you guys think....thanks.
