  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 2013 cr 125 pull trigger?

I pretty much talked to every dealer within 250 miles of me,only one with a WR125/144 was Motofit in Danbury CT.
The way I under stand it is,whem KTM bought Husqvarna they just bought the company.BMW still owns the bikes and they just want rid of them.
So Husqvarna is giving $2500 off all bikes from factory and the dealers another $500.I bought mine in the crate and saved another $479 in set up.I don't live in CT so I didn't pay sales tax either.
I called dealer, made the deal for cash on the phone jumped in the truck and headed out.I just told them I knew Husqvarna was given factory deals, and dealer rebates, and the guy said "Yea".He came at me with higher prices, but that's what I got them to go for.
$3900 cash in the Sprinter.

With the 144 kit.

Most everyone likes their Huskies even though they are bashed in reviews. The 125/144 actually gets good reviews which must mean its amazing lol. Quit talking about it and pick it up, you already wasted this weekend without it ;)

I totally feel the same. However, I can understand why people who review bikes don't seem to understand the huskys. I rode Jap dirt bikes and my tc250 was my first euro bike. I hated everything about it and fought it to death. But after learning how the husky handles I really love it.

Couldn't pass it up.
Thought about selling one or two other bikes and grab'n a WR300 while the deals are on.

If a guy could find 100 at that price or lower and kept them for a year or two I bet they could be sold for 6000. or better.

I grabbed the 125 to do some NETRA,Jday events next season,,,basicly.:D

Brand new bike, with good chassi with another 144 clynder, head and piston-n-rings.Other then fluids and some guards that's the season paid for, minus entre fees and tires.

yep doing all the J-Days on a 2013/144 this year !

We had a few in the trird moto earlier this year one of the girls and another old guy or two, I am the only one to make all of them so far.

Besides some of the sponsors here on CH, where do you guys attain most of your parts from? When I begin racing, I'm sure I will be snapping off some foot pegs, brake levers, ECT. OEM hand levers are 35 to 40 dollars. Shifter and brake lever are 55 and 75 I believe.

Halls has everything BUT if you set up your bike with the correct protection you should never have to buy any thing I have never broke any thing you listed I have done King of the moto Last Dog Standing and 5 years of National Hare and hound on the same bike nothing has ever broke off

Thanks for the heads up Ajax! I do order everything from Halls for my TC. What's some good protection for the Cr? Main things I'd go with are skid plate, hand guards, and a pipe guard?
