Day one went well really screamed the crap out of the machine. Blew the rear shock near the end of the first st on day 2 (FYI the reb adjuster screw o ring pushed out and all the oil leaked out).
No quitting, rode basically the entire day with no dampening (I mean zero). Just a spring out back. It was super sketch up in the pine forest trail, but i coped well as long as there was a cushionn on the trail . For single whoop i did my best bubba scrubs to keep from being ejected, for multi whoops i rode up e sides and zig zagged alot or just slowed way down and rolled em. A pro woman was heloed off the mountain , luckily i passed the secene. Before they closed the special for 2 hours, LR was caught behind that wait, as well aslots of later minutes. The highlight was the wilderness mountain trail st. It was a tip toe in some spots with sheer drops off line. Pogo husky was not the best tool for that job. I learned alot more about clutch, body,Bike control riding in that condition. I had to really choose my speed battles carefully.. The 310 is really a trail weapon, this evvent is the hardest i ridden her yet, not the hardest ride but the hardest ive ridden her in anger. Anyway thats about it . Ok more was late into route check 4 (because of my slow mountain ST time and transfers) so i blasted off to the final st which i completly fffd up on, but once out, there was a long transfer to finsh check out so, i rode like a maniac to try and make my. Check out time, i got to the line as my out time min flipped i was hammered but super happy, prolly made up 15. Maybe 20 mins. It was alot of open fields with a a. Very safe 18mph average. 6th gear was not unusual on the smooth stuff. Its break time and bike work time, clutch mod, oil change, valve check, wheel true, new rear tire, new chain," etc etc.
PS flexxbars are great and the Fasst Co owner Cole rocks, with no questions he rebuilt my bars with new, elastomers and hardware. Did i mention how good the 310 is. I gotta give it up to the rynopower program as well, that stuff is rocket fuel.
