• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE/TC 17 TE 150

Them Gassers are looking pretty sharp! Shaved like 33lbs off and coming with KYB's.
They look good, but.... 33lbs off a 260+ lbs is still not in '17 Husky 2T weight range and no small bore bikes. Kind of a deal breaker for me!

This on the other hand.....

Yeah! Good lookin bikes! Like to add one but always afraid of the future parts thing.
Not sure why Sherco can't get a foot hold in US?

I did not know Gassers got out of the small bores........

Here is concept?

All five stripes butt into each other like the silencer.

Both tops and bottoms get polished up to and down to the stripes.

Prob take me 8 hours to get these done.

Same colors as silencer.

No go on a Husky logo. It doesn't show up with all the grills machined in these.

If don't like it! Just sell bike to UBER to haul people around! Be an UBER SCOOTER!

They still gonna do a 200 for US market apparently. Full size frame I think(based on 250/300)
Not according to the Mika Arpa interview in Enduro 21.... too small a market. 125 is also out, due to Euro 4 standards for HP/weight ratios for learners. 125 must be permanently restricted to low HP... so no more teens buying an enduro 125 street registered and then putting it in competition mode. This is why there is the competition only Husky TX125 in Europe now.

I had a 2001 GasGas 200 dealer edition with Ohlins and all the extra goodies and LTR did a great job re-valving the suspension for me. It was based on the 250 platform just like the above description. Back then all the GasGas bikes were smaller in scale similar to the older KTM200. I ended up selling it because I didn't like the smaller 7/8 scale feeling of the bike with the weight of a 250. I'm really tall so others might have preferred the smaller size but as for the performance of the bike it always felt like a weak 250. I much preferred my 08 YZ125 in every way. The Sherco has my attention especially if it's close to as light as a 125 with a 200 ish engine.... even a 175 would be a ripper.

Rod told me this, but said he really wouldn't know who was right until the bikes arrive...

Unfortunately as the post says.... 250-300 based if it comes, so it will be big. The positive is.... if it comes, it will weigh close to the the old KTM 200, but way more than the new TE150/KTM 150 XC-W. Gas Gas can't get lighter, until the next generation motor. Riding a 148lbs trials bike makes you want lighter!

I hope it's true and they have a 200 demo at the PA National Enduro this July!

Isn't the 125/150 on the same frame as the 250/300 with the Huskys? I've only sat on them and didn't pay much attention. The 150 feels a little lighter rolling it around but they had the same feel.

Seems like they are having a 200...thing probably only weighs 2-3 pounds less then the 250...husky Te 150 203 pounds with e start? Crazy! Tc 250 212 pounds....gas gas 33 pounds lighter or did they weigh it with the rear wheel off..guessing 230 or so...doable!!

You should see these in person....

They look sharp with the colors and rest of bike.

The polished tops and bottoms make you think the radiators are polished.

Paint is on there! Plus it's chemical proof. Expensive as heck, but in order to get it off, better have a sand blaster.

Work, weather, family, and etc. have conspired to keep me off the bike for the last couple months (well that's my lame excuse anyway) but things are finally starting to look up.

I got a blue spring in the mail yesterday. Another shout out to Honda of Tulsa in Oklahoma for their great customer service. I'm going to try and get it measured soon but this week will be hectic as I'm trying to get ready for my first real ride over at China Hat. Coincides with the first ISDE qualifier in OR. It sure is fun to watch the really fast guys go at it.

I've taken this shot at jetting and hope it's close. 5000+ feet, 40-50 degrees, 42-74 needle, clip 2, 470 main, 37.5 pj, yellow spring, float set at 8 mm, carb bowl plug side holes drilled, and all else is as delivered. 92 non-ethanol, 50:1, 1 oz Amsoil octane boost per gallon. I'm not looking for perfect just something rideable. Does this sound close enough? Any suggestions on what alternate jets/needle to bring with me? I have pj's in steps down to 30 if I get up there and find an issue at low rpm. I have all the jets/needles included with the bike but I've got the leanest ones installed so no option to go leaner on the MJ unless I get some more parts. What I don't want is to drive 4+ hours and have the jetting be really off.
