well i just picked up a z-start pro and installed it tonight. wasn't too bad for the first time messing with my clutch. the directions were pretty straight forward and if you have an ounce of mechanical talent, you should be able to do the install.
i have it set for medium rpm and hard engagement but i have not been able to try it out yet. i didn't think that breaking in the clutch at 11pm would fare well with my family and neighbors.
anyway, one thing i noticed on my clutch basket was that there were places where there was some minor notching, some places where there was some real slight notching and other places where there was nothing. its definately no where near what the installation pic shows what notching is, mine is more like waves than distinct lines. should i be concerned about this?
i've got my idle speed set at around 1900 rpm's so do you think i'll have to mess with it to get it right fo the medium rpm range?
