• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

07 TE610 Right Hand Control Wire Plug

GlenBow

Husqvarna
Hi All,
The wire plug for the right hand controls (start button and kill switch) is behind the headlight. All of the wires had broken off the white end of the plug. Does anyone know which wire the orange and white on the white plug end mates up with on the black side of the plug. It should either be the black or blue wire. Pictures are attached.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to have a look. I will wait a week or so for others to respond before I take the control apart to determine the right wire. Have a great weekend.

This is from 610 ie manual is it helpfull?

Hi John. Thanks for sending me the diagram from your 08. I am now 98% sure my white/orange wire needs to connect with the blue wire. Wire colors are different on my 07. Just need to be brave enough to start it up and let it run.

I have an 06, looks to be the same as yours. White and orange go to black, blue goes to blue. Hit me up and I will try to get some good pics.

Good Day. Thank you very much for your time and response. I was going to hook the orange/white to the blue. I will now connect it to the black. Currently snowing and 23 degrees F. so I will have to wait for warmer weather to start it up and ensure all the electrical functions as it should. Have a great weekend.
