No, the fuel injection is still Mikuni, but the ECU is by Athena and the software is called Maya.

So it should have the option to adjust the C-O levels like the I-beat has. When I had my 310 Husky I got the dealer to enrichen the levels to get rid of the flat spot it once had and increased its bottom end. The 500 is just under $9000 AUD which is awesome value for money.

I'm not so sure. I haven't messed with it enough. The adjustment functions appear to be there, but that's about all I can really say at this point.

I've seen two bikes out and about while I've been here in the Hunter Valley. Both fleeting glimpses but certainly SWM's.

SWM Motorcycles USA SWM new model introduction next week in IT, we will be represented by Pete Vetrano........beyond that, we know nothing. At least we will have a face to face meeting to determine how they plan to move forward with USA approvals......It is likely that we are delayed until the 2018 models are ready for testing.

Thought I could pickup an old Italian husky and use SWM parts if anything broke. Guess not. Thats kinda a bummer.

Pretty sure most parts will fit. It is possible that the bikes they are building may have slight differences to the coinciding Husky models. This could be due to something like an update (for the next model) that never made it to production, due to BMW taking over.

That response from the factory is to cover SWM if it doesn't fit. To be fair to them they are SWM, a motorcycle manufacturer. They are not an aftermarket Husqvarna parts supplier. They want and need to sell new SWM's not old Husky parts.

Don't be too discouraged just be aware. ( Or buy an SWM )
