    WR = 2st Enduro & CR = 2st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

A sad day for me because I'm not a huge fan of KTM/Husaberg.

Well that sucks if that's the end result of the husky, husaberg, KTM mashup.
was going to wait until 2014/2015 to get the new husky wr125, but if its going to be a ktm with a plastics & sticker kit, I may just get a run out deal on the last year husky wr125.

At least we can stop buying YZ250F front fenders! Seriously though, the first year or two was always going to be re-branded KTM/Husaburg. I'm looking forward to seeing a few years down the track. I would rather have a couple years of this, then have another 10 years of the same old bikes with different graphics! I love my WR but the design was in dire need of a serious upgrade, the moneys there to do it now.

Could be way worse********************************************************************************!!!

kinda wish they had the blue excel rims huaberg used. I think that's where the hubs and rotors are from
Husabergs use blue D.I.D. wheels. I have an extra set for my '12 Husaberg TE250 and I'm pretty sure that they will work on my '14 Husky 250 2 stroke. Oddly, they seem to be staying with Husaberg like model designations.... TC300 for the 300 2T MX bike, so I guess the 250 2T Enduro bike will be a TE250, not WR250.

All I can say is that I'm very disappointed. All I see is a KTM with a prototype Husaberg style sub-frame and a bad idea for some tank shrouds.
