    No carb came with it, so going to go with either a 36 or 38mm Mikuni?

    Yeah on the photo, I can't seem to see it either. :cry:
    As far as outfitting for Racing, you might check out the site HuskyJunk, they're focused on the 250 mag (74), but they're 250 specific and have some stuff heading back to your year. I don't think anybody has mentioned it outright so far, but there are performance exhaust and reed options that will give you a fairly good boost too.
