I recently bought a 2011 SM630 and was looking at the web site that has the seat, it says foam and cover only. So do I have to buy a new seat? I'm a little confused. I love riding my 630 but on the longer rides a better seat would help. Has anyone rode with one of these seats on their bike yet? How is it?
Oh ok, is this an easy process? have you done it yourself or did you have someone professionally do it for you? It looks like just removing some staples and getting the right glue.
It's not real difficult but you need a very high powered staple gun to get good penetration into the seat pan. The local upolstry shop will probably only charge about $25 to fit it up and that might be a good option if you've never done this kind of work before or don't have the right tools.
Any chance you folks could do an extra tall seat for the TE630? I've got a customer that's buying a 630 from us who is 6'7". Thanks.

I just used your "contact us" page to ask a question about the 630 seat kit and colors. What color options do you have and does selecting a different color delay shipment much? I have a trip coming up in early July, a cozy seat sure would be nice. Here's my bike: I was thinking white would be cool. Maybe white with red sides? If you have white, how well does it hold up to discoloration? EDIT: I just looked around on your site. It doesn't look like red or white are offered. I guess I'm sticking with black!
How'd it come out? How do you like it? I'm thinking hard about ordering a seat, but i'm worried about the seat being too soft. For comparison sake I'm 6'4 and 215lbs.... And the stock seat seems too soft to me.
