Moab in mid December?

    if there is any snow on the ground then, is 5 miles of hell even doable? I have yet to run that trail so I'm not sure.

    I wouldn't want to drive my truck into the 5MOH trailhead on the greasy road in the snow. I've done it once and was lucky to get out.

    I heard on faceplant it was 1 degree. St. George might be better or down a few feet more in elevation.

    There's around 4 inches of snow on the ground and I doubt that the temperature has hardly gotten above freezing in the past week. I'd hold off till the end of Feb.
