Hey Kia-ora, water went into the cylinder or into the oil. I've also had a water pump o-ring failure and had to refurbish the whole water pump and coolant was getting into my oil. At this point my bike only starts a bit hard when engine cold and sometimes it drowns after 3-4 failed starts (this happened when engine warm also)
