2-3 and 3-2 are just 2 different rods..one is not the "new" rod.
first number is top half of rod, second number is bottom end...higher number=richer....
if anyone is confused by this, please check out lectrons site. anything that isnt 2 numbers then "xl" is a custom rod, such as the "ms" rod. that was designed by kelly for the 165 and stands for motosportz.
"xl" refers to the newer lectrons we all have, unless you get a vintage one..those numbers a re confusing, lol

    Crystal clear.
All I know is my 38mm lectron is the best mod I've done.
Think its 3-2xl an it suits 360 very well 1st kick most times choke cold and 1st kick every time warm.

thats very likely, mine shipped with and still has the 3-2 as well. i have swapped to a shorter powerjet tube however

It was Kevin at Lectron that insinuated the 2-3xl was a new rod

you can buy different length tubes, they swap easily if you want the pj to kick in at a different rpm. a shorter tube will let the pj only operate at a higher throttle and a longer will let it operate at a lower throttle.
hmm, maybe new for working with the 165? you can buy any of the numbered rods, i forget what the range of available numbers are..
i think 1-4 for the first number...i see a 2-2 pictured on the site..

top end numbers go to 20, bottom end numbers go to 4..so there are rods like a 18-4 xl, lol...
independant runner for auto applications would be sweet!

Right I've not checked with lectron but you are the font of knowledge in this thread.. 1-20 1 refers to lean or rich
And does the 1-4 apply the same rule.

1 is the leanest, higher the number the more rich it is. So 3-1xl is same on top, but leaner on bottom the 3-2xl

Got some more info from Lectron:
    "Leanest to richest
    3-1M (same as MS-3)
    3-1XL
    3-2M
All of these rods provide the same fuel at WOT. They are progressively richer on the low throttle positions from 3-1M to 3-2M."

Assuming 3-2xl is next richer after 3-2m

    A little more:
"Thanks again. So 3-2xl is next richer after 3-2m?"

"Correct. Then, to be a little more confusing, we have a new 2-3XL metering rod that we use for 250cc-350cc two stroke dirt bikes.
It is even richer low throttle than the 3-2XL , but slightly leaner in high throttle positions."

Well after I put my glasses on the new rod is a 3-2M starting at 2.054" ,close as I could get was 2.052 so in it went after a 1/8 turn lower correction this is much better. Supper smooth on bottom and much stronger across the middle and I don't have to wait for it, very controllable
The rod shipped with it was a 2-3XL, worked good for trail ridding but I was always waiting for the thing to wind up out racing. Dave down in Texas really made the effort so if your not supper happy give him a call.

Ran it in the rain today, this 3-2m is faster than the other rod and far more controllable in slime with plenty of hit and really strong pull. Traction is key to me, it way to hyper with the PKW on rocks and roots
Now this should be what I have heard all the hype was about.
