You need 3500 litres of air through airbox to feed a 500 at full song. Not a job for any type of fan

    What would 3500 liters be in cfm's? 3500 liter = 123.6 cfm.

It's a tad more wattage. A restat on the throttle cable for controlling the speed of the fan.

The muffin fans. I think any boost in the air box would help. I could be wrong. We would need a few rubber windows. Some that open for too much pressure and some that close for not enough pressure. Just to figure it out.
I guess I have too much time on my hands.

The pressure differential achievable by any "fan" is effectively none . Also they actually make less power on the dyno due to electric draw
Here's a video that proves anything as such is idiotic .
So stop posting in a thread that is other wise interesting

This a public forum, Bill can post what he wants!

It is starting to sound like we have some bully's on this forum.

We need to treat people how we want to be treated!

i doubt anyone is doing differently. feel free to correct if i try to talk about installing slide stuffers in a mikuni vm in a thread where we discuss types of smart carbs. if i also start to guess at part fitment, continuously ask a question thats been answered for me, wonder whether boost bottles work, or post incorrect factual information...i would hope someone corrects that too. my feelings wont be hurt.

I'll go away sorry. Wow got up on the wrong side of the bike did we.

I believe the hayabusa has a pressurized air box.

I was told to shut up about boost bottles and I did.

DaveM thanks for the kind words.

I repeat the jetting figuring a newbie here might want info but are afraid to post and ask. I don't think of it as spamming. I like my spam fried. I go off sometimes thinking something's can relate down the road to each other. It's info you can put in the bank.

Some of us have so many bikes I can't dump $$ into every bike so jetting a mikuni with a UFO is as good as it gets with porting.

    I don't cut n past. Sorry.

If you have any personal comments anyone wants to say to me just message me and we'll correct it. I don't want to see anyone spam this forum. Let's keep it within the family.
