Did you have to lengthen the chain to fit the 18" rear wheel? What size rear sprocket are you using with the 18" wheel?
Well....actually I am still on goin with the sprocket swap....while trying to remove the sprocket off the sm wheel....3 out of 6 bolts that were hidden behind the spokes...is way to tight...so i cant use the socket spanner like the other 3 bolt n nuts....Just bought the closed ring spanner today....will continue with the swapping these next few days...then I'm ready to take her for a good spin. ohh...the 610 originally has size 41 on it...i thought it's rather too small..but gonna just settle for now....the 510 probably size 47.
ok got the sprockets swapped. I am so glad I don't have to spend money for building this conversion...everythg seems to be hooking up nicely... I even swapped the speedo cable sensor over...now going for a short spin and will do the meter adjustments for the wheel conversion.
Finally after 2 mths...I did a test ride on the husky.... Think I wanna switch the rear sprocket from 42 to 44 or 45.
