449/511 Important Urgent Flywheel Inspection

I was not so lucky with this issue,and just after i finish the race here in Hellas i've heard a noise come from the stator,i was surprised!!!Then i return from the race at home and i was wondering what was that noise.Pictures will tell my frustration about.

More than a pity couse the prise from husqvarna Austria is 383 euros including flyweel.I am looking for a second hand from USA.

And you get the freewheel clutch as well.

To repair this I gather you have to split the cases? My goodness.

nope , just open the lh side and replace the Stator with flywheel. 1hr job

Oh, I saw the copper in his prefilter screens and was thinking you'd have to split the engine to clean out all that stuff??

The stator and the flyweel have very tiny gap, so the wires from the stator didi't come out to the engine, so i am huppy about it, and what you see in the filters are only the dust of the copper,any way i have to change the oil cuplle of times till it come clear.

Just checked mine and they seem fine. Mine has done 28hours of Supermotard racing.

Is it necessary to drain the engine oil to check these bolts? Have fresh oil in mine.

Just lay the bike on it's right side. That's what I did. Actually I put the right handle bar on a center stand so the gas wouldn't piss out.

be careful, don't lose two little oil sleeves on bolts under LS cover.

I have a TE250, year 11. Should I check this out too?

Normann what bolts are the oil sleeves on?

Cosmokenney, what year is your bike? Did you buy it new or used? I wonder if any came from factory with Loctite already on the bolts?
