Watched yesterday. Anstie aaaalmost had Moto 2. But, that pesky little kid from the Netherlands stole it from him.

Our boy Paturel seemed like he got it under control in race 1... until money time, the last five minutes, when herlings came . Febvre's performance was a relief after a couple of rough moments. The 3 year contract he has just signed with yamaha may have helped with that. Let's remind us that last year, he only started winning races at about that moment in the championship.

He needs to move up. He's just sand-bagging now.

I like Febvre, but he started winning last year after all the other contenders got injured. I'm glad to see him back up to speed. Cairoli is really surprising, but Gaisjer is obviously the fastest. Glad to see Nagl staying in the top 5, but sure was hoping he'd be more of a contender.
Nice to see a couple guys making Herlings work a little for his wins, but the guy is truly in a class of his own. I'm just sick of seeing him win and can't stand another podium interview

Cairoli had to try something at his home grand prix, especially in heat 2. Good to see Paulin and Desalle back at better places. Though I am not their biggest fan, mxgp needs competition at the top to keep being entertaining ( unlike mx2... )

This was some great racing over the weekend!

Emig kept taking about the track being awful/being in bad shape but it looked fun.

AC222 tried to make himself ten feet wide the entire race but Gajser is just in beast mode right now.

I was glad to see AC222 finally looking racey..... I guess he shot his wad trying to keep 243 behind him but man he looked good for 20 min....

We need to import him to the states so KRoc can race someone....

Plus Honda has not won a major title for ages in the US, right? That would be the perfect opportunity for them to try and win a MX title ( Canard being generous but often injured, Seely solid but more a SX guy ). And Gajser could benefit from a full support from the factory ( Garibaldi is backed by HRC but still a satelite structure )

Here is the fight in slomo. Now, I'd love to see Gajser and say Fevre move to the US next year and fight Rocsen, Dungey,...

Word is Cairoli is back on a 350 for the Czech race. Should be a good weekend of racing.

Caught the race yesterday on CBS Sports Network. Gajser and Nagl were in a flat our drag race in Moto 1. On-the-gas!

Moto 2, Gajser did his best Max Anstie and threw it away (all on his own) in the final minutes giving Nagl a 1-1.

For the brand, the GP Husky guys faired much better than the Nationals Husky guys. In the GP even Thomas Covington had a good showing!

Great racing yesterday all around. MX2 was so much better without Herlings and Gasjer and Nagl smoked the rest in both motos
I thought Pourcel looked great too. Even when he bailed it was spectacular. I was really glad to see back and in the top 10 in moto 2.

Doesn't Pourcel just look fluid? Even in bailing out?

I like Anstie but he seems to be his own worst enemy. Inconsistent and will find a way to blow it right when he's about to close the deal - I can set my watch to it.

I was more impressed by Covington's 4th place finish.
