There is a drain hole on the front of your air filter cover that is open. Attach a 3/8" rubber fuel line to this opening and run it down under the skid plate. This will eliminate the oil blow by mess on your valve cover.
As for the coolant, I run waterless XF coolant from Zip-Ty racing. It will never over boil or boil for that matter, and XF keeps the engine about 20° cooler at elevated temps.

so if it was the head gasket it would loose more coolant than I described

These engines run really hot initially, it could be that you just boiled it out. I had bad over heating issues with my 511, I even over boiled EngineIce. As soon as I started running XF, I had zero issues. I have never heard of an head gasket issue on the 449s...

have you had any success with this fix
I turned up my idle and that seemed to help
also running on hard setting works better, on soft it likes to stall more

Have ya got the bike back yet db511? If you haven't can you get the finer details on wheat they've done when you get it back?

Hopefully a fix comes out so I can release my inner child and do this at the lights without it stalling/flaming out... hehe (PS the Nuda sounds grouse with a full pipe!)

I got my bike back and they did a great job. If you need info call Evansville Super Bike Shop and talk to Jim. He dealt directly with Husky until they got things right. They also addresses the clutch drag issue. Husky actually has a part and procedure to fix this. They have different size spacers that go in your clutch pack. You simply measure the pack (I don't know the exact size it should be) and do the math and order the correct spacer. Made a huge difference. Contact the shop at (812) 477-1740 and ask for Jim or Alex. They should be able to help.
