    I just did the same thing as Huskyjefff, classic Schmoesby. Now the question is to buy the ziptie cover or the Oberon assembly on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/i/152680054097?chn=ps

    I also was wondering if anyone had any master cylinder upgrade suggestions?

    Trenchcoat85 I think the snap ring is there to retain the assembly for installation. But IDK cause I blew mine apart before I saw it together.

    well, that's as good of an explanation as any. With the master piston unported there would be minor atmospheric pressure on the system if there was a height differential. very, very minor though.

    but hell, just hold the slave piston in with your finger during an install, or hold the clutch lever in slightly (to close the port), or just put the M/C lower.

    that design has caused some grief.
