• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Just installed mine. Only took about a half hour... he he he. Ok 10 seconds. The pull part of it appears to be plastic??? Does not look like machined aluminum and has flex. Not a problem at all but found that odd. Where the bolt goes in looks shinny like aluminum but sure does not feel like it. Just a random observation. Mine (TE511) takes the hex type, fit perfect. Provided bolt was 50mm, needs to be 55-60mm as it did not engage enough thread. I reported this. Not a big deal just needs addressed. Luckily I have thousands of bolts here. :>) Looks nice, does not add much weight, should be useful. I need to do wheel bearings soon so looking forward to having this item.

My puller arrived and on the TE 310. I find it has 2.5-3 rotations in the outside wedge when still aligned, so can be inserted into the axle, and another 1 or 2 to snug it up.

Thanks Tinken and Zip Ty for making these and pricing them right. Fits great on the hex axle of the 310.

I want one!

Kelly, are you on a ZipTy reseller program or do I need to get it from them directly?

/F

Get it from them. I just like there stuff and people so I use some of there stuff. Tinken and Ty have been very helpful for me (and a lot of us). Tinken has made my motor last longer and Ty made my suspension rule. Great shop IMHO.
