• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

You like the looks of this? (Beta)

I can't decide if I like this or not. It is way to busy for me but nice looking in some respects. you like it?

K,
I like it, but also I agree the graphics are very busy. But that is the Beta style, Italian design is rarely vanilla and sometimes garish.
Side note, As more and more cottage bikes from EU progress (Beta,Sherco,TM,GG,Fantic etc), I still can't find a solid reason why we (US) can't build something that is competitive in the full size world.
We have the mini market covered with the amazing Cobra Moto, I really like those guys they are a great US moto success story. Sorry I got off tangent. R

bike looks great... but i would tone down the graphics as well.

+1. i'm an Erik Buell nut (had a sick XB12S) and loved the rumors of the dirty bike he was supposedly working on, my XB was tough as nails. never liked the HD connection but understood the flexibility it gave him... now that that 'relationship' is over and done with... i can only hope EB tries to enter the dirt market again down the road some time.

 bike looks great... but i would tone down the graphics as well.

same here. that Photochop isn't very pretty, but when Erik can do his thing, the outcome is usually fantastic. not to mention, he's a really nice guy!

i flew out to the factory when i bought my XB, took a factory tour, group ride with 8 or so Buells, had lunch with Erik, etc. hands down best bike purchase experience i've ever had... right here in the good 'ol USofA to boot.

Can't concentrate on any one part of the bike. Normally it's the motor but that's congested too.

I think the stock Beta graphics look better than their "works" graphics do. I don't like the blue in the mix.

Put stock graphics on it and it worked be a good looking bike. Or, just drop the blue, at least.

There is a lot going on with its stickers. Do you think it comes with all those anodized parts from the factory? Cause, thats cool****************************************

I like it. Realy groving on Beta's style. As graphics kit go that is a hell of a lot better than some I have seen lately. I would be happy if they just stayed on.

Played around on a 2010 RSF motored 400. Cool ride. Low seat hight so you can get you feet down for a dab. Steering is great. Zero effort and wide lock. I would own one.
