• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hey everyone,
Thought I would mention something about XTRM. I recently got signed up and started visiting there regularly...it's pretty cool! I hope that submitting and getting contingency is as easy as everything else is on that website. Below is the link to my "site", feel free to request me as a friend.....or of course sponsor me :busted: . Anyway, it really is pretty easy to use and pretty straight forward. Thought I would share. Oh yeah, it has it's own built in Sponsorship program (kind of like Sponsorshouse if any of you are aware of that program)....and it's FREE on XTRM. Anyway, check it out and add me as a friend if you're currently signed up. See ya.

Robertaccio,
Curious how long it took you to recieve your Husky Bucks after you submitted the result through XTRM. Thanks!

Blake,
They went through very fast , and you can even follow the path from the sponsors and see when they visited and made payouts. within a month both were paid. I can go on to my spot and get you exact dates, its all there. You just need to process the race results and notify sponsors, the ratification process must be done with the governing race body ie:AMA, as well so the sponsor(Husky) has proof of result. Best of luck, Rob

don't hesitate to request sponsorship from any of the supporting sponsors, its painless and worth a try, the discount coupons are also quite valuable as with savings up to 50% from some companies.
