  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

XTrig Triple Clamps

Hey Guys,

just thought I'd tell you guys about how good the XTrig clamps are!!

Never used a set before, but after seeing them up close on another bike, we had to get a set! As an engineer, I always appreciate something thats well made, and these clamps really are sommet special. Every little bit has clearly had a lot of thought put into it, and it really does show. They have an adjustable offset of 22mm or 25mm, and you can put the bar clamps in 12 different positions. Deffo recommend them! Heres some pics......

I agree. I've never seen a better made / thought out set of clamps than the X-trig.

They are super sweet engineering master pieces. :notworthy:

I've never seen them before. How much do they cost? Are they available in the US? What bikes do they fit?

They are def the best. A lot of SM guys use them. You can get them with different rake and offset.

They are adjustable offset, 22mm or 25mm offset. They're available all over the world. For the whole lot like we have I think was £600

Even machined after ano, nice. Are thos for KTM and you adapted them? (stem pinch bolt, color, mounts all look KTM)

Yup, like I said, every single part of the clamps has clearly had alot of thought, and if anything, over engineered!

No they are Husky clamps, I think X-Trig use the pinch bolt type clamp on all their clamps. They only make them in that colour too!

Cheers. they have two on there, im guessing one set comes with bar clamps? $120 differance.
Will be getting them next yr :D

Yeah, the lesser priced one looks to be just the clamps, the more exxy one includes the PHDS bar clamps.
