• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

04 CR125, want a full set of blue graphics, anyone know where to find something like that? I ordered all white plastic and want blue graphics. Nothing on eBay.

Kelly, although they aren't shown on their website, Decal Works can make them. They are available in the newer T1, T2 and T3 designs, that you can customize the colors on. I was the first to ask for them and ordered last week. They are doing the setup to do in a combination of T1 and 3. The setup was supposed to take a week or more, so your order might sail right through.
Mathew is who got it going for me.
If you find any frame guards for those old bikes, I'm looking.

Nice find on the bike

Funny sale. I saw the bike listed for sale about 1.5 months ago. Inquired and nothing. inquired again a week or so later, nothing. Finally got a hold of him and got the run around a little and just forgot about it. Out of the blue he calls me after no hearing from him for a month so i low ball him and he said come get it. Was a nice dude in person but had no idea how to sell a bike. Anyway will be fun.

They sure make some neat stuff. That N stuff you had is really cool. Your timing is good cuz Robert at Seat Concepts just did his first 04 WR seat for me a couple of weeks ago.[/quote]

Nice on the seat, love thier stuff. I just did the custom blue/black/white T3 off Decalworks. Looks great. Added the WB165 to the graphics already :>) Forgot I was a dealer there, good prices on nice stuff.

thanks for the lead.

I have been buying graphics from moto-stylemx.com and they have some decent looking ones for the older bikes also. Thick vinyl that holds it's shine. They are australian but moved to Slovakia to be closer to the GP circuit. Don't let the location scare you, they communicate and deliver. Ride PG has some older stuff also I think.

Motoplastics US has Cemoto graphic kits and plastics for those models years according to their website. I think the graphics are blue and yellow. Not sure if you can get blue and white.

Update...

I already ordered all white plastic from Craig at CeMotoUSA (highly recommended) and already ordered blue/black/white full graphics from Decalworks. She'll be a looker soon. :D

Going to have Richard from house of horsepower try and fix my forks. Never liked the 45mm forks but Richard swears he can make them work as good as anything. Replaces the base valve. We will see.

I wonder if he uses the base valves that were developed at Riders Edge in BC? I put those valves and stacks in my 04, but the bike isn't finished yet and I'm anxious to see how they work.

No I think he uses modified KYB or Showa base valves.

One of the things I like about the RE valves and stack recommendations, is I can do the work myself and don't need to pay for shipping the forks back and forth. I can't personally how well they work yet, but all the reviews are very good.

Yes, that sounds good. But in my case I do a lot of work with Richard (he buys dampers and stuff from me) so he does my suspension for nearly free (trade basically). he also says there is a lot to do with the other aspects of the forks to make them work like he likes them. Also might go with his proprietary progressive springs. I have done my share of revalving but Richard knows so much more than me as he has done this for a living for years so I'll just let him do his magic. He made my twin chamber WR125 fork better off road than most any fork i have owned.

All white plastic from CeMotoUSA showed up today, looks awesome. Can hardly wait for the graphics to get here. Fun.
