    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

125-200cc Wrap around fork guards for 14' cr125 KYB's?

I searched, but couldn't find a definite answer. I'm hoping to find wraparound guards in black for the KYB's that came on the 14' cr125. I have tried the following guards from these bikes with no luck: 14' KTM 48mm big axle bike, 15' KTM 48mm small axle and late model YZF guards don't fit.

I've emailed Acerbis pics of the guards and they told me they're from an older, street legal KTM that they no longer sell. I would like to buy Acerbis, but beggars can't be choosers. It does need to be black though. Thanks for any help!
 
I thought KTM fit as they're the same as Beta from my understanding & I used Beta on my KYB Huskies?!
 
I'm an idiot. The 2014 KTM guards do actually fit.
I dont know where I went wrong the other day when I tried fitting them, but they fit just fine on the KYB forks :confused:
 
I have an 09 WR165 with 50mm marzoks.....and go thru fork seals more than once a season. It has been suggested to me that the larger surface area of such a huge seal rwduces psi of sealing force, contributing to the problem. But also another friend installed wrapped fork guards on his KTM and insists they have reduced seal problems.
Is there a wtaparound guard for an 09 WR 125 style fork?
