  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hey guys i have a 1996 wr360 and i cannot find any plastics for it anywhere ive looked online, all my plastics are bad condition and the bikes soon becoming a spare so really i only need to find a replacement for the rear fender cause its broken from wheel stand fails lol.. so my question is are there any other model bikes or newer models that have a rear fender that will bolt straight up to it (dont have to match bike just has to be white and bolt on). I have found some for a
1992-1999 Husqvarna TC TE WXC WXE 350 410 610 that looks similar but unsure if it bolts all up to myn without modifying it lol
 
all 92 to 99 rear fenders 4stroke and 2stroke interchange, the color is the only difference
finding new is about impossible, GOOD used ones are also not easy to find

my 92 610 and 360 were the same
bought a rear fender last year it said 4t
that being said there are actually two sub frame lengths, so watch that and measure if you think it's different than your
the longer sub frames use a fender that has a plate mount for the license plate
 
Oh i see thats some handy info, im not to concerned with howot will look and its not a deal breaker if it isn't white either as id rather have one on there than none at all lol
 
fyi 95 to 99 tank spoilers are interchangeable
the DC plastic stuff is rough looking, looks like a CHEAP copy
 
Yeah mines white currently, and im ok with a cheap look as long as it fitted cause im buying brand new bike from dealer at end of the year and the trusty old husky will become a spare that i just want to look complete and be functional

what are you getting for a new bike?
 
Unsure exactly at this stage but where i live for both my budget and riding style a 2017 yz250x is what im leaning toward at this stage though i may end up with anything still lol

so roughly where do you live and what style riding do you enjoy, trail, enduro, single track or some combo of these :confused:
 
Live in tasmania small island section of Australia incase you may not have known and yeah a bit of a mix of riding, the yz250x seems like a middle ground between mx ans ensuro and ktm ans husky around here are fair chunk more expensive for a similar type thing
 
The 2017 ktm 300xc is within reach if i scramble my budget to make do but the husky equivalent is 4k ontop of my original budget

Hi, you have a WR or WXE? I can have the front and rear fender and rear side seat covers. please let me know
