  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc WR360 Pipe fitment = 1999?

Hey All,
I'm new around here, but have searched the mast posts and I'm unable to find an answer... FMF lists pipes as fitting through 98 and from 2000 on. My 99 has an FMF Gnarly pipe and I wanted to get a spare (just because its so massive and vulnerable), I’m not that particular over the spare, I just planned on using the lesser pipe when riding my property when the odds are better of messing one up (based on the amount of riding) and using the better pipe when looking for an edge. Does anyone have a answer to which version of the FMF (or any other) is easily modified to or will fit a 99, or what the differences are (flange, etc?)?

Thanks in Advance,

Rodd

Rod,

I believe the 2000 and later pipes will fit. I have 3 pipes for my WR 360 just because it is so exposed. Now that I don't use it nearly as much as I did before(WR144), I would be willing to sell one of my extra pipes. They are stock pipes and not the FMF. I use my FMF as the everyday pipe although there isn't much difference between the two in performance. PM me if you are interested. At the very least if it doesn't fit you will know and can send it right back.
