• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'm super impressed with the 300's low end capability. Even though it's running at 500rpm's and sounds like it's going to flame out, that SOB just keeps going.

I'm sure Motosportz, JMetter, NWRider and the rest of the locals know where these locales are :busted:

Sorry!

I fixed the privacy issue, but I realized I'm in-line waiting for it to finish converting. It'll be viewable shortly.

Great stuff thanx for sharing.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Almost Trials Bike material.:D

Man way better than pictures...I think.

Thats some of the best sound I have ever heard from a vholdr....and great action too...

I also notice myself whenever I get in a tight spot like that....after I get out of it....I just want to pin the thing and feel the bike rip...or maybe thats just me :excuseme:

Nice stuff. I still say that there's nothing like a well tuned mid sized two stroke for taking care of gnarlies.:D

Looks like west of Browns camp heading towards Jordan Creek off of hwy 6 in the Tillamook burn. Gnarly stuff.

Yep. It's the special sections off Archers Firebreak.

I'm loving the 300. Never had a 2 stroke that gets it done off-idle like this one.

I think we all do it. It's hard coded in our DNA.
I tell myself that I need to clean the carbon off the plug so it doesn't load-up

It's a cult I'm a part of :busted:
More truthfully, it's a bunch of idiots from the Portland area who I ride/camp/drink with.

I dont get into the religious, political or race related topics (At least I try not to), so its easy for me to be a member there.

K,
want to show me around the GP anytime soon? Think any of these other local yahoos want to go to? I'm sure Jake would.....
