  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Lost LHS one yesterday riding(big stick ripped it off but didn't notice at the time!) & RHS one is worn through(wearing MC) so need new ones. Local dealer has pulled parts fiche for Italian huskies so guessing they no longer doing parts. Where & how much anyone tell me please?

$3?!!!

I mucked up local dealer still has Italian parts just their website lists 2013 bikes as only ktm era huskies(I was searching for 2013 wr125). Looked on 2012 & sure enough they're there. $12.30 each plus GST so $30ish not too bad(before you posted anyway Steve!;)). Once again Aussies getting shafted. $3, seriously that's awesome!

I just ordered a set thinking the frames were the same 2012 WR125 & 2010 WR300. I was wrong! They don't fit properly on my 300. Anyone know where I can buy a set that will fit??

B&B Offroad make an ally set. I've had mine on for 7 years. Expensive but worth it!

Wow! AUD$105.51. How much is that in US dollars?
http://xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=105.51&From=AUD&To=USD

The price will drop to AUD$94.10 as you are not paying AUS TAX, but you need to sum the shipping to it.

I am also seeking for a proper frame guard for my WR300, I have some rubber (inner tube) glued + zipped to the frame tubes, that was meant as a temporary fix but this stuff is holding up pretty well, but not perfect, dirt gets below the rubber and will rub against the paint.

I will probably try yo make my own aluminum guard sometimes... maybe :D

Not Really digging those B&B guards. I Don't like the look or the price. I'm gonna get creative with my heat gun & dremmel tool to see if make the 125 guards fit. I'll post pics if it works out. Otherwise I'll go with the grip tape!

Shame Acerbis or similar never made guards for the Italians. They would of had 10-15 years of production run outa 'em!

Check out the ones on my bike, I make them out of 3mm acrylic plastic heated & rolled - not factory perfect but they seem to last, also make them for the Beta trials bikes, $20.00 to cafe husky members + freight, if you want a set let me know & ill go out to the shed & make a set, I have white black or red

This was my first ever set i made, they've been on there for around 3 ys now, you can have a go yourself , 2-3 mm acrylic from your local plastics supplier & a heat-gun & roller, my latest ones are better as i have bow made moulds
