  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

right ive got a question, how long would my bike hyperthetically last if i used it on average 200miles a week at quarter to half throttlle occasional full no traffic stopping (ok jump that stuff)

ive got a spare head n pistion on my shelf, sic an tired of 200cc kmx on the road an forgetting how to throw the beast about,
on topic off topic who cares, p.s, deep fryed topic now thats a tasty snack

oh yeah i forgot i assume being a wr enduro it should last a while atleast

THANK YOU:popcorn:

Idk, but if you vary the rpms, and the engine is cooling properly, and you dont run too lean, then the top end should last as many hrs. as if offroad.

yeh thats a good option ive got a supersprox kit am running 14/ 48 but cant get a larger sprocket on the front, reluctant to change the rear as its new..
definatly an option tho, guess i will just start using it an tell you how long it goes, sell the kmx and pur that towards a rebuild engine at a later date.

thank you for you help

there really doesnt seem to be any clearance between the sprocket and swing arm. i willl order one and have a look but ive less than 5 mm clearance before it hits the actucal arm.. so i doubt an extra two teeth would be accomadated.

2 premo i know i ordered sprox and they didnt have stock in stock so i thought for twisty stuff this thing would be good with 14/48
it tops out about 78 80mph but i rarly take her to the redline i like the roll on and off of the throttle not fussed at super speed

they are very close to the swingarm, but you will notice the slot in the swingarm guard

no i dont race on the road thats for the track!
