I live to ride !
I saw pictures on line of a TC 125 and I was wondering if they will import them here ? Or will it be just for the European market ?
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Were getting the TC125, not the 150 though.
KTM 150(144) is a bore and stroke job.can you still get the 144 kit for that?
Just got dealer book and pricing about what we thought.
Details Bill...details...Just got dealer book and pricing about what we thought.
Possibly in '15.... There is also a difference between 'Street Legal", as in Factory Dual Sport and being able to slip a bike under the radar. In the Northeast KTM products ability to be registered vary by State.... In NY if I buy a KTM or Husaberg (and soon white Husky) from a NY dealer, the MSO says off road use only and I can't street register it. I bought my Husaberg from a dealer in PA and the MSO had no "off road use only" restriction on it. I had no trouble street registering in NY, as there seems to be no "List" of forbidden bikes, like NJ. New England is pretty much the same, but some States require a visual inspection for DOT equipment before registering the bike. Italian Huskys seem to fall into a gap in NJ and are easy to street register, but I'm sure the Austrian Husky VIN's will be on the same restricted list, as KTM's and Husabergs now. Will there be any street legal bikes? Ktm marks all theirs with off road use only. And husky did not so one was able to plate them.

that was the case for a long time here in the NW as well. Unfortunately they got smart tot hat and started sending "your plate is invalid" to all those who got a plate. IMHO if you want a plated bike you should get one that is factory plated so you don't have issues down the rode. There was an endless thread on TT about this and many pissed off plated KTM guys with invalid plates.
yea but there was a factory top end kit for the 125 a few years ago they probably dropped it when the 150 came out
