  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Will MME clutch/brake levers fit my 250txc??

I wanted to get new clutch and brake levers and after doing some research I would really like to get midwest mountain engineering. I see that all they list is for KTMs, but huskys have the brembo levers just like the ktms? So i'm just wondering if im missing anything.

I have a 2011 250txc

Just be sure to get Brembo for the clutch. And be sure to put up a report and tell us what you think. :)

Best to give them a quick call. They know exactly the right one to get you for your specific bike. They were very helpful with me for my 09TXC250.

BTW, I love the lever!

yes - they fit - just get the lever for the brembo clutch and brake lever.

really nice, high quality stuff! easy pull, all the adjustment to get them exactly where you want, and i'm a 2 finger user of both so i love the shorty design. I can pull all the way to the bar without banging my 3rd and 4th knuckle, which allows the pull the be shorter and less fatigue.

I have one on my 09 TE310 it's a Magura one though . It has made a huge difference in the tight rocky single track over the stock one and I'm actually able to one finger it . I spoke to Steve before I ordered mine ,he was friendly and helpful to talk to .
